# It's Linux, On Mi Pad 5.

We are sick of not receiving updates shortly after buying new tablets. Sick of the walled gardens deeply integrated into Android and iOS, and the old, end-of-life downstream kernel released by devices' vendor. That's why we are developing a sustainable, privacy and security focused free software, tablet-centered OS that is modeled after traditional Linux distributions. With privilege separation in mind. Let's keep our tablet useful and safe until it physically break!
